Default Weird?

Well, I have a 22" LCD monitor ran at a 1280x1024 resolution. I am having a tough time recording GW because of HyperCam 2. I set HC2 to record 1280x1024. I open GW in full screen and well HC2 cuts off my skill bar and more stuff. Weird. When I make the game screen smaller(window), then it looks horrible and no light in it even though the settings are set to high brightness in full screen and window size. It looks GREAT in full screen but window size looks horrible. Anyone know why is this? I'm trying to get HC2 to record something but something aint working.

Heres a picture of it in FULL SCREEN:

I see nothing wrong with that picture.... It appears completely normal. You sure you are not just thinking your skill bar is missing, perhaps because that is just the way the program is making you perceive the screen?

I've got an old computer, usually not recording any video...especially of Guild Wars. (It'd lag like hell)
Most screenshot camera thingies i've used have a feature where you can select what it records...if your program has that feature why don't you just use that. >.<

Idiotic question that has to be asked: are you sure GW is running at 1280x1024? A more usual native resolution for a 22" would be 1680x1050 - if GW is running at 1280 and your monitor's native res is 1680, then it will look not-so-good.
